Stop Using DAWS

If you have never seriously listened to real music like old style country, blues, jazz, rock, classical ect.. then you won't get it. Artists like BB King, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Page, Jimmy Hendrix, Hank Williams 1, 2 and 3, Miles Davis, Benny Goodman, George Benson, The Beatles, Paul Simon, Taj Mahal, Bob Dylan, Charles Mingus, John Waite, Leonard Bernstien, Jerry Garcia, Janis Joplin, ALL of Mowtown and nearly all music that the pre 90's you lack the soul, depth and the seasoning to to understand why DAWS and the process of using DAWS is ruining music.

If you can't play and instrument and you are not even a singer, stay the fuck away from making digital music but if you do please don't share it with anyone.

  1. Just sounds like you don't understand how to use them. The world has become a digital place and recording studios are part of the world. You can assume I'm a "sock" all you want as you put in one of your posts but I know personally that Mixcraft is actually a good recording software for beginners who want to learn the ropes. Yeah you'll eventually want to move on to more expensive and ultimately better software but it's definitely a good start and at 80 bucks it's a steal. This whole blog just seems like you're upset.

    1. DAWs are not that hard to use once you figure out all the bullshit for lack of adequate instructions and tutorials. There are two problems with DAWS:

1, They are unstable and crash constantly.

      2. They allow geeks to make "music".

Music sucks today because of DAWS. It lacks feel and motive.

    2. DAWS are a TOOL to musicians record your material, music sucks today because of US, not because of DAWS, they never be perfect or never crash because are made by man imperfects. Stop to talk bullshit about things you dont know. I am a Reaper user and he never crashed.
